Charlie
comes from a professional Rugby League family, Charlie's brother
Kevin played for Warrington, his cousin Warren played for Wigan,
his uncle Wally played for Leigh.
His
nephew Warren currently plays for Swinton, but Charlie's career
went into professional football before finishing with injury, he
then turned his hand to comedy .
As
a comedian he has entertained at the top level in Union and League.
Charlie was the comedian when Wally Lewis Australia's greatest ever
Rugby League player came to England.
When
Mal Maninga left St Helens he was the comic at his leaving dinner.
He has done pre match at Wembley before the final Wigan Versus Leeds
1995.
Charlie
works regularly with Alex Murphy MBE the Greatest Rugby player of
all time, Alex says "Working with Charlie is easy he is a true
pro and always good company a Great Comic"Eddie Hemming's from
Sky Sports Rugby has said of charlie" He is the only comic
I know can make Rugby audiences laugh without swearing he is Hilarious".

Legend Andy Gregory says "He is the best comic on the circuit
he is always very topical and he always does great Impressions."
BBC mr rugby Ray French says "I have booked Charlie many times
he is tops he is an excellent speaker and impressionist.
"He
has been the comedian for Bradford Bulls, Casleford Tigers, Wigan
Warriors, Leigh Centurions,plus his home town Warrington Wolves
and many others. Also he has spoken at British Lions Dinners.Charlie
has spoken with Will Carling in the Isle of Man at the Hilton Hotel.
He
has spoken with many great players like Wille John McBride, Fran
Cotton, Phil Bennett, Jonathan Davies.Twice Charlie has done the
Welsh Rugby Union Writers annual dinner, plus the Welsh Rugby Leauge
ex players dinner. Charlie was invited to be the comedian at the
North East Legends dinner the star guest was Johny wilkinson.
He
has performed at the Leicester Tigers dinner and he is a frequent
visitor to Rugby Clubs up and down the country, he is equally at
home entertaining both codes Union and league.
