Charlie is a talented script writer, he has contributed many gags for TV shows and after dinner speakers.

He has contributed to the “Stand up” show for Channel 4, also he has written for the BBC show the “A- force” of which he was a member of the cast for three years.

Part of the A-force was a topical news media show called “Blouse and Skirt” of which he has written a full episode.

Charlie has also written many lines and gags for the former Manchester United midfield player Norman Whiteside and former World Light Heavyweight boxing champion John Conteh.

Other boxers include Featherweight legend, Barry McGuigan and former Cruiserweight champ and now TV pundit Glen McCRory.

He has also written a full script for the Hollywood actor Adam Fogerty who starred in the film "Snatch” along with Brad Pitt as the bare knuckle boxer Gorgeous George, and a full script for Shaun Wayne ex Wigan and Great Britain forward.

He co writes for the Pete Pinnington show with Pete on Wire fm 107 ten till two Monday to Saturday broadcast of which he and Pete have a slot called “Corruption Street” a pun of Coronation Street.

In this slot Charlie does impressions of Ashley Peacock played by Steve Arnold who says "Charlie does a better impression of me than i can do myself "plus Jack Duckworth, and Fred Elliot, with Kevin in the garage as Kevin Webster.

Also on Wire FM Charlie is the voice behind “Beckham the Pain in Spain” a weekly update on David Beckham.

Charlie has also written topical gags and lines for newspapers across the country, and also speeches for company directors.
